Speaking of Muneca Brava, what did it mean to you to do this novela? Was it a before and an after? It was a huge step up in my career but "Chiquititas" was also a before and an after, just like "Sueltos". It signified a huge step up which gave me an impressive catapult, just like the one I had in "Chiquititas" with the kids. But now i've realized that with "Muneca Brava", it was on a worldwide level. It was something I never could have dreamed of. You never even thought about it? Romania, Greece, Israel. I wasn't egotistical enough to ever think about such things. And there are many other countries i'm leaving out. All of Latin America, Central America, United States...this was on a worldwide level. So i'm the luckiest guy in the world because anyone could have played the role of Ivo but I was the one lucky enough to do it. It gave me the opportunity to open myself to the worldwide market and that's incredible. So how do I feel in respect to Muneca Brava? Thankful and tremendously lucky. Grateful to those who gave me the chance to do my first leading role in a telenovela alongside Natalia (Oreiro). When they told you that you would be working with Natalia, who was already very well known, did that affect you? I could have let it affect me until the very moment I met her, but I didn't. I already knew Natalia in a very casual way. Nothing more than that. But I heard comments from other people that Natalia is a girl (I'm not one to talk about her. I don't like to talk a lot about other people) whom no one can speak badly of. If they do, it's because they have bad intentions. So having heard this about her, I said "Whatever happens happens. I'm going into this with good intentions, i'm a hard worker, and I want to do things right. There can't be a problem." and there wasn't one. In fact, the chemistry between you two that had never before been seen between other leading couples. I'm only going to speak for myself. It was very easy for me to fall in love with her, with her character, with her in itself. I was playing someone who was falling in love so when they yelled "action!" I was completely in love with the woman standing in front of me. Later on when they said "cut!", it would be "Bye! Send my greetings to so and so". You know? Everything went down very well. Meaning, we never had to push aside the professionalism required for a situation such as this. It was very easy for me to fall in love with a woman like that. It was pure chemistry. What did you and Ivo have in common? Little and nothing. I gave Ivo everything I didn't have in real life. That freshness, that arrogance, and that's why I had so much fun doing it. Because I was never like that. I gave him my innocence, my foolish side; This guy passed himself off as the most noble angel in the whole world, as the baddest guy, the most courageous, the clumsiest and the most cowardly. And these things were so visible/obvious that they were almost harmonious. If one thinks about harmony and tries to do things in a harmonious manner, nothing can turn out badly. What did it signify for you to get your hair cut off in Muneca Brava? I had moments of desperation, insecurity, and confidence. Moments where I thought "I don't care!", moments when I missed it, and moments when I said "It's good that I got it cut off". When they first told you about it, did you immediately say yes or did you have to think about it? I said, "You think so?" (He laughs). "Do you really think this is the best thing to do, bro?" ![]() .SSA .SRT First of all a huge thanks to Dee for making these lovely images. You rock! It's kind of crazy that it's been 100 episodes. Here's to 100 more! I thought it would be fun to start putting up polls so don't forget to vote over there on the right --------> Facundo Arana Part 10 Monita: My hand is screwed up, not my legs! Martin: I want to take care of you Monita: Untrue! You just want me stuck here so you can go cheat on me with the first crazy chick that crosses your path Martin: Can you tell me where you get this nonsense from? Monita: It's not nonsense! I dreamed it. I had a terrible nightmare in where all the women wanted to hook up with you Martin: It was a nightmare, Monita! Monita: Yeah but it felt very real! First I have that dream. Then I catch you whispering with Rosa about I don't know what. I call you on the phone and you don't answer. So I go to the office and what happens? I see you with that chick! Martin: The Ambassador of Slovenia! We were talking about business Monita: Tell me the truth. Are you hiding something from me? I can smell it! Martin: Okay. Eh, yes...the truth is I was hiding... Monita: What? Martin: I was planning a special dinner for you and me. Tonight, just us two...because I wanted to give you something. Monita: *Gasp* What a beautiful monkey! Ay, give it to me! Give me Monita: For me? Martin: This is an engagement ring Martin: Nena, do you want to marry me? Monita: Yes!! (1:43) The man who once confessed that he had no reason to cheat on a woman because his woman was more woman than any other, is now alone. (1:52) Facu: I'm telling you, we men are marked to always have an important woman in our lives. Otherwise we're nothing. Forgive me if I offend anyone with this but um...all men look for a great woman to stand by their side. (2:07) A lover of freedom and great challenges, Facundo finally received his pilot license after seeking it for so many years. (2:27) Naty: I've never met anyone in the world with as many words as him Interviewer: Why with words? Facu: We had previously done a scene in this very place... Naty: But it was pretend. We flew but we didn't really fly. Then he comes to me and says, very ballsy, "Naty, if I get my pilot license will you go up and fly with me?". And since I thought that... Interviewer: That he would never get one Naty: Obviously. So I said "Sure Facu, whenever you want!". So he started taking classes every day! Every day after shooting was over he'd go flying. Until one day he came with the license and said "Here it is" and I said "Alright, i'm going". (2:59) This friendly and charming man admits he still has one dream left to accomplish...climbing Mount Everest. He eased his desire by climbing Concaguas, which is the highest point in Argentina. For him, this stopped being a promise and became an oath. When speaking about Facundo, we must also speak about the theater and the awards he won by starring next to Pepe Soriano in "Visiting Mr. Green". He later abandoned this in order to dedicate himself full time to filming "Sos mi Vida". (3:31) Interviewer: You worked with the biggest actors in Argentina in your theater debut Facu: It was a tremendous responsibility to attempt to be even remotely tolerable and to reach half of the level he's in. What i'm most grateful for is that he gave me the opportunity to share a stage with him, especially when he knew this was my first time doing theater. *Skipping Pepe's comments as they're irrelevant* (4:42) Presenter: And the winner is...Facundo Arana! (4:56) Facundo Arana! 099 central, channel 13. He was a saxophone player and played in the subte. Later on he arrived in televison with "Canto rodado", "La Hermana Mayor", "Perla Negra", "Zingara", "Chiquititas", "Muneca Brava", "Yago, pasion morena"...until he arrived at his character in "099 Central". Actor, protagonist of telenovelas...Facundo Arana! (5:24) Facu: But I want to dedicate this to the public. We're actors because the public plays at believing us in what we do, which is marvellous...which is to tell stories. Because we create them in order to tell them. This is what we live for. This is what gives us passion. ______________________________ "Monita": Because I have a brave heart, i'm going to lose you, i'm going to lose you. (This is the theme song to Sos Mi Vida. "She" is singing the lyrics wrong. It should be "i'm going to love you") Martin: I'm going to the cuarto (Fourth). And you? Monita: Cuarto (Room)? (Cuarto means both "room" and "fourth") Well, i'll go if you want to take me but I didn't know you had a bedroom in the company building, Sir. Martin: The fourth floor, Monita! Monita: How nicely you say my name! Monita: Martin! Martin: Monita! Monita: Who are you? "Monita": What do you mean who am I? Monita: Who are you? "Monita": Who else would I be, Luisa Kuliok? I'm Esperanza Muñoz "La Monita" (The little female monkey) Monita: You are not La Monita, hmm! "Monita": hmm! (0:37) Monita: You're not La Monita! The only thing you have in common with a monkey is the hair on your feet! "Monita": Girl, stop it and leave me alone to talk with Martin Martin: Can you two cut it out? I don't want any scandals at my company, Monitas! Monita: Look Martin, there is only one way to find out who the real Monita is. This is the Championship belt and I'm willing to bet it won't fit this fat girl. "Monita": This is going to fit enormously on me, girl. Enormously. You see? It's even too big for me so why don't you run out of here? Plus, I don't need this to be a champion. Haven't you seen my technique? Look at my shadow Monita: The only shadow you can create is the one with your huge belly, fattie! "Monita": Oh, how funny the Miss is! You think you're a clown, eh? Monita: Clown?! Martin: That's enough! I don't want any more scandals at my company, Monitas! (If I remember correctly, Martin used to say this a lot in the novela :D ) Monita: Ayyyyyy "Monita": That sensitive smile! Monita: I said that first "Monita": Shut up, you're the one copying me Monita: I said it first!! "Monita": You're always coming up short, you're always coming up short! Monita: Ah, what am I missing? Two? "Monita": Yes two (1:32) Voiceover: Check out Natalia! She's terrible! Is the kiss coming now? Martin: Are you going to give me a kiss, Monita? Monita: Ay, I don't know if this is the right place for this, Martin Martin: Look at me, Monita Monita: Ay, I don't know if this is the right place for this, Martin Monita: Are those pearls real? Oh i'll just die! Martin: Are you going to give me a kiss? Monita: No, I liked the necklace better Voiceover: Here comes the kiss! The real one Martin: Tell me, why do you hesistate? Monita: Because of your breath. Breath spray! Monita: Open your mouth. Give me a kiss "Sos Jodida" (Roughly translated to You're a Joke/Prank. A play on the title) ______________________ Naty: Look at me, look at me! I need a beauty treatment because I have a premier to go to. Susana: Another one?! Those poor men must be exhausted. You just don't stop! Naty: You only think about that dirty crap, eh? This is a movie premier, understand? You know that i'm a super Oreiro fan, right? Susana: Oreiro, Oreiro? The cookies? Naty: You're such a beast. So dumb. Susana: Why? Naty: Oreiro! You don't know who Natalia Oreiro is? "Ay, yes yes, say yes" Susana: Do you really think I have time to wait around and check out these newcomers? That I have nothing to do but... Naty: Look, my love, this girl is not new. She's released 4 albums and a bunch of other stuff. *Starts singing* Susana: She sings that? Naty: Maybe you don't know her as a singer. She's an actress too Susana: Ah! Nobody can live in this Country with just one job. What has she been in? If you tell me, I might know it Naty: She played a maid in "Muneca Brava" Susana: A call in or a live in maid? Naty: Live in maid! And you have no idea how hot the galan (Handsome leading man) she got into her bed was. Susana: She got a galan into her bed? Then I must have seen it because I love shows with sex scenes. They drive me crazy. I've got it, i've got it!! The live in maid...the one who worked with Facundo Araña!? Naty: Please, it's Facundo Arana nena! Susana: Alright Arana, Araña, it's the same thing. Oh yeah? So she was Facundo's partner? Naty: Exactly Susana: She's a beautiful girl (1:27) Interviewer: I really liked it when you said you didn't know how to live without him. Something like that. Naty: Honestly, I can't imagine my life without him Interviewer: Ay Natalia! Did you feel that way from the first moment you saw him? Naty: Yes...yes Interviewer: So it was like an arrow hit you here? It's good, no? It's a great feeling Naty: It's very pretty Interviewer: And do you have any desire...we're looking at pictures now...do you want to have children? Or not yet? Naty: Eh...no, not yet. Interviewer: Not yet then. Naty: You're too much! I'm going to hit you with this pillow over your head. Interviewer: But people care about you a lot and want to know. Naty: Not at the moment. Right now we just want to be together. It has nothing to do with work. There's a time for everything and it will be marvelous when it does happen but not now. Interviewer: Yes, of course. I understand (2:23) Naty: Well, I was more woman Interviewer: More woman. I really love your hair like that. Naty: I had no other choice! Interviewer: The scene where you cut your hair was very strong Naty: It was strong and... Interviewer: It seemed like the scissors didn't want to cut the hair! Naty: They didn't and plus, this was the only take we could do. This was real hair, it wasn't a wig. Interviewer: Yes I was watching it with Marcela and my grandson. I heard my grandson say behind me, "There could only be one take" Naty: Yes and if for some reason the hair dye didn't work or there was some other technical problem, we wouldn't have known what to do. But everything turned out fine. Labels: translations Sunday, August 31, 2008
(3:22) When Facundo talks about visiting the countries where his novelas air, he's not talking about two or three. Now a days, he's the most well known Argentinian actor in the whole world. "Muneca Brava", the show which he starred in with Natalia Oreiro, continues to hold the title of the Argentinian telenovela most sold internationally. 54 countries and translated into 25 languages. (3:52) In 2006, he once again starred along side Natalia Oreiro. This time to protagonize the novela "Sos Mi Vida" and, for many, to protagonize their own hidden love story. (4:04) Interviewer: Will it be a success? Facu: There's no way of telling but what is for sure is that we're working as hard as we did before. We're very happy to be working together again and I hope the public likes our work, that's all. Naty: We're having a fun time, which is the most important thing. When one laughs at oneself, then the public will laugh along with you and that's what's happening every day. The technical guys laugh, we laugh... I don't know, sometimes we feel like we're going to the devil but I think this is good for a comedy. Facu: Plus, it's a very pretty story Interviewer: What convinced you to say "yes" to doing this story? Facu: Being able to work with her Naty: Working with him (4:38) Martin: Are you leaving me? Monita: How could I leave you? Monita: I'm letting you go free and you have no idea how much this hurts me but I don't know what to do! When it's not one thing then it's the other! Today we put your mother-in-law in jail. When we found your divorce paper someone stole them... Martin: But this can't tear us apart! Monita: Martin, it's not just this...it's everything! I'm going insane. I can't take this anymore. I can't continue living with the fear that I'll lose you one day! Martin: You're never going to lose me because I love you with all my heart. Monita, what are you saying to me? (5:10) The millionare businessman meets Esperanza "La Monita" Munoz, a crude boxer who introduces him to a different way of life. And in between adventures, kisses, and a few slaps, there is a love which they are destined for. Labels: translations Thursday, August 28, 2008
I've skipped to part 7 because that's when it starts talking about MB and Natalia. The other parts were mainly discussing Facundo's battle with his disease and his musical career.(0:14) In 1999, he accepted the role of a character which would move Argentinian women everywhere...Ivo on "Muneca Brava" alongside Natalia Oreiro. This is when their special friendship began which eight years later was revived alongside intense rumors of a romance. (0:37) Mili: I bet i'll be able to change your facial expression Ivo: Ah, you want to bet? Mili: Yes I do Ivo: Alright. What do we bet? Mili: Whatever you want Ivo: Whatever I want? Mili: Yes. But don't go overboard, eh Ivo: No, no. I was just thinking of eating out Mili: Alright Ivo: Wherever I want? Mili: Yes Ivo: Whenever I want? Mili: Yes (Sorry, audio is bad. I can't catch what they're saying well) Ivo: Well, now I want to see how you're going to change my expression (1:24) During the year 2000, he starred next to Moria Casan, Hugo Arana, and Malena Solda in "Buenos Vecinos" (Good Neighbors). A series which focused on conflicts which emerged from the relationships between neighbors in a typical neighborhood. (1:38) Interviewer: Facundo, when many years from now a kid asks you about "Good Neighbors" what will you tell him? Facu: That I have great memories of the show and it's a wonderful program with top notch actors. As it was. (1:48) Around that time, his relationship with actress Isabel Macedo was doing well. It had its ups and downs but was lived intensely. (1:57) Interviwer: I saw your girlfriend. She's so pretty! Facu: She's a beauty Interviwer: She's so pretty. Did she accompany you? Facu: Yes. What's more, the day before the trip to Concagua...um, it turns out that we had to do a training session. Um, they got the idea to go to the top of the highest hill which is named Sarnoso. It's very tall and high. So before going to Concagua, we went to this hill... Interviwer: She also went up? Facu: Yes, right to the top. It took 7 and a half hours, it's that high up Interviwer: Wow Facu: She was even ahead of me Interviwer: How impressive Facu: She's wonderful because she's the type of person whom you can sit down in the most inhospitable place on earth and no complaints. She's up for anything and getting down and dirty. Yet she's also perfectly capable of sitting on this fancy table without discomfort. In fact, I'll have to look at her to see which silverware to use. Interviwer: How divine (2:54) Nothing and nobody could have imagined that one day Facundo and Isabel would break up. But that day came. It was in 2006, and it coincided with the rumors about him and Natalia Oreiro becoming very close. (3:10) Interviewer: They're saying that you two have a romance going on Facu: That doesn't surprise me at all. They say that every day Interviewer: You were at Petecos with Facundo Naty: Yes Interviewer: You two were seen hugging and kissing each other and because of that, people are saying there's a romance between you two Naty: We were filming scenes for the novela! Are you screwing with me? (3:30) Facundo, in respect to his private life, decided to make no comments about it. Isabel left the house they both shared in the Palermo district and moved into her parents' house. (3:42) Interviewer: Are you two separated or not? Facu: Write whatever you want. You've seen that i've never denied or confirmed anything about my private life. I think it's best if it continues to remain that way. (3:54) She was the invited actress on the program "Breakfast with Mirtha Legrand", whom continuously referenced her personal life. (4:02) Mirtha: How is your mood? Your spirit? Isabel: I'm doing very well Mirtha: Your mind, your heart, everything? Isabel: I'm calm Mirtha: You're calm? Isabel: I'm working which is great because... Mirtha: Of course Isabel: We're there for 12 hours every day... Mirtha: How many years were you together with...Facundo? Isabel: Um ten years Mirtha: Ten years. It started when you were very young. You're so young now. Hmm ten years, that's a long time Isabel: A long time, yes Mirtha: And when did it end? Isabel: In truth, I... Mirtha: You don't want to talk about this? (Duh) Isabel: No, because in truth... Mirtha: Ah then we won't discuss it. But i've read around that... Isabel: It's not a subject that makes me feel comfortable. Not because of any particular reason. They know about it, they've worked with me every single day for 7 months... It's not that I talk to them about it or anything but... Guy: You don't have to talk to anyone about it Isabel: Not for any particular reason only that I don't feel comfortable. I've never really talked about this subject before Mirtha: You guys were very low radar. You weren't very exposed Isabel: No no Mirtha: I'm sure he doesn't like to talk about it either Isabel: I don't know. Personally, it's just not a subject I feel comfortable with. (5:11) But in truth, Facundo is all about work and that's what he wants people to talk about in regards to him. Labels: translations Wednesday, August 27, 2008
98 is currently being done but for those who don't care to wait, here is 99.SSA .SRT Added songs to the list. There were a few Italian ones I couldn't find so if you know them, drop me a line Edit: Here is part 3 Facundo is very gentlemanly. In truth, I would like it if my son was as big a gentleman as he is. He has great manners and he's always very respectful and gallant with women. He's someone who's very attentive with what the other person needs. And the girls like it, obviously. Plus he's pretty. (0:37) Bohemian and melancholic. Once he got into a fight over a woman. And he's cried over many more. For being abandoned. For the mysticism that is lost when the person you thought was the love of your life leaves you. (0:54) Facu: It's as if what I chose to do is to tell stories. And I believe we're going to talk about that later on. Interviewer: Yes Facu: Um I prefer to believe that that's my job and that's what I have to dedicate myself to. So I don't have to distract with...um with anything that could enrich the media . There are people who dedicate themselves to doing that and they do it very well.* *I think he's saying that some celebrities play along with the media and their gossip because it gives them attention but he doesn't want to do that. (1:17) Pablo Echarri is like a lover that you bring home and Facundo is the one you introduce to your parents because you're getting married. Facundo is the son-in-law that every parent wants and Pablo would be, in inverted commas, A lover which you meet once in a while for a few hours and then bye. But Facundo would be a great son-in-law. Imagine if you bring that sweet man home, a true gentleman. He's ideal! (1:45) What is for sure is that Jorge Facundo Arana Tagle was born on March 31st 1972 in the federal capital. He became, without having imagined it, the owner of the most beautiful eyes around. The most sensual man. The one with the sexiest look. The one who has trapped women of all ages. The most humble actor. The most sensible musician. One human being who capitalized courage in order to say "no" to death. (2:16) The only male in a family composed of two parents and three sisters; an older and two younger ones. (2:23) Interviewer: What do they call you in your house? What did your grandmother call you? Facu: My paternal grandmother never met me. Interviewer: What's your full name? Ah no? Facu: I'm Jorge Facundo. She never met me but she would always tell my mother, "Matilde I want a grandson with celestial eyes". My mother would say, "Alright Rosita, it will happen eventually". My grandmother kept insisting and when Mom was giving birth to me...my mom was having me and my grandmother had died just a bit earlier. Interviewer: So she never met you Facu: While in labor, my mom screamed in the middle of the room "Here are your celestial eyes!". Interviewer: Look at the things that have happened in your life! That's marvellous. Facu: Yes Interviewer: Do you have more siblings? Facu: I have three sisters who are beautiful Interviewer: So you're the only male? Facu: Yes Interviewer: And did you fight with the girls or no? Facu: Look, the truth is that if any of them are walking down the street and someone tries to do something to them...i'm telling you, I honestly pity the person because those girls are very well trained. Interviewer: Do you have any nieces or nephews? Facu: I have two nephews. One is currently living in Germany...well, I think they're living in England now. He's the son of my elder sister. Then I have Agustin, who is the son of my middle sister. Interviewer: Are you a good uncle? Do you see them often? Facu: I would like to be a better uncle. But whenever I do see them, I just fall apart. Interviewer: Do you want to have children? Facu: Yes, sure. Who wouldn't? (3:37) When he was 15 years old, his best friend took him to a theater class. What started there as just a teenage game ended up indefinitely marking the future of this irresistible galan. (3:50) This job that I chose to do, this career that I chose...because in truth it's really difficult to turn acting into a career. Very difficult. Everyone knows this. Do you know how many jobless actors there are out there? It's very difficult. It's an enormous process and i'm just beginning to cope with all this and it's a matter of age. When you're 30 years old, you can't be devoted to anything. It's all just...it's smoke. (4:18) With only 17 years on his shoulders and a reality that he didn't understand, he received from the Doctors the worse diagnosis possible. He had Hodgkin's disease, a cancer which affects the Lymph node. No one knew if a future existed for him. It's a very serious sickness which requires great willpower and a knowledge of which tools to continue life with. (4:43) Pablo Novak: I think...I suspect, that the childhood or teenage sickness that Facu had made him a thankful man. I think people who have gone through bad times learn how to be thankful. My intuition is that this sickness helped Facu be the type of man who sees you, grabs you and says "Thank you". He has that type of attitude. I think it made him a much better person. The truth, in one form or another, helped to feed the love story of Martin and Monita. After more than 10 years together, Facundo and actress Isabel Macedo seperated at the exact period of time when the stories about him and Oreiro were at its highest. (0:19) Monita: You...spoke with your ex? Martin: I was talking to her when you called me Monita: I'm scared, you know Martin: Don't be scared. I promise that there's nothing in the world that can separate us. I promise. I swear it. We'll talk later Monita: No, why? You're leaving already? You'll be leaving me alone Martin: I have to talk to Constanza Martin: Monita...I know that this is all very difficult...but if we want to be happily together we have to go through this. (1:01) That the kisses are not fake. That the looks are real. That they spend a lot of time together. That he looks at her differently. That she, in turn, does too. (1:13) People have always fantasized that the lovers of fictional stories will fall in love in real life because it's a lot more...eh...prettier and the fantasy is a lot better if we imagine that. The root of what they're selling us every single day...It's a pretty thing to buy, no? What's more, the kisses that are shared now a days allow that fantasy to be fed because...before kisses used to be more candid. Now, because of competition, ratings, and a bunch of other stuff...and the demythologization of sex itself...they're stronger kisses with more power! And that helps to feed the fantasy. (2:12) Martin: You're the most beautiful woman...the sweetest woman....the softest woman... Monita: I'm dying for you, you know Martin: And I for you Martin: Monita Monita: What? Martin: I swear that this will last forever Monita: If you keep talking like that, I won't ever want to leave Martin: I hope so Martin: Thanks nena Monita: For what? Martin: For making me so happy (2:56) Despite the fact that Facundo does not like to be called galan (Handsome leading man), he recognizes that he is one if it means allowing a woman to walk in front of him, opening her door, or pulling her chair back so she can sit down. Timidly, he sustains that it's all about having manners and respect. That's how his parents raised him and it makes him happy. (3:19) He has no arrogance, despite the fact that he's the main character of this program. He always had a very high quality way of acting with everyone. Not only with his coworkers but also with the technical people, and even the guy who ran errands. He was always at the disposal of anyone who would go near him. (3:55) He really is a gentleman, no? A guy who looks at the details. A "clean cup" type of guy. A "wine tasting" type of guy. I don't know, I think he's a man with a type of gentlemanliness that doesn't exist anymore. And he's very beautiful too. A guy who has both inner and exterior beauty. Um very pretty and yes, yes i'm in love. Or rather I was in love with him (haha) (4:35) If we look at someone who is Facundo's counterpoint then it must be Pablo Charri. They're opposites. I call them milk with coffee. Pablo is a guy who's super intense. Oh, he's angry! Oh, he's going to burst! I remember a thousand times when...it even happened to me!...when he's told me "No wait a minute! Don't talk about that!" He's a guy who is...he's intense. And Facundo is very respectful. "Look, I want to tell you..." "No, the truth is that I don't feel like it" It's as if...he's constantly avoiding a conflict Labels: translations Sunday, August 24, 2008
This is one of the videos I chose to translate because I thought it was nice and showed different scenes from Sos Mi Vida. There are many parts so I'm going to start putting them up now. Sorry but I won't hardsub.Interviewer: When you do a sex scene with Natalia... Facu: We didn't do sex scenes. Well, we did... Interviewer: When you do those things, do you get hot Facundo? Facu: No because at that moment we're working. When you're watching it at home, you see two people killing each other and you say "oh wow they're killing each other" (Meaning that it's very sexy and passionate) but when you're at the studio where the scene is being filmed you're surrounded by 40 people. I have to try to cover her so that her body parts won't show and at the same time I have to be careful that I don't cover the light... Interviewer: You have to do all that? Facu: Of course! Interviewer: Hey, that thing that was published about you and Natalia...it's not true right? It seems like a rumor Facu: What did they publish? Interviewer: The pictures they published Facu: Pictures of what? Interviewer: Pictures of you rubbing your hand on her back and stuff Facu: Those were pictures of a scene we did in Ibiza where we watched the sunrise at the beach. Those pictures? Interviewer: You're just good co-workers and that's all? Facu: Natalia is in a relationship! (1:05) The wedding of Martin and Monita could have easily been the wedding of Facundo and Natalia. People love them, search for them, choose them. They imagine fantastic love stories about them which thrills the fans but annoy the implicated. (1:27) Priest: Then I pronounce you man and wife. Martin, you may kiss the bride (1:53) After 228 episodes, the finale of "Sos Mi Vida", the most watched show of 2006, disappeared from our televisions with the characters of Facundo Arana and Natalia Oreiro. They stop being two and become three. (2:08) Martin: You're the woman I love most in the world. You gave me a beautiful daughter Monita: She is beautiful, isn't she? Martin: Congratulations Martin: And? What happened with "machito" (Male. Manly.) Monita: She's going to box, eh Martin: Oh yeah? Monita: Yes, she's going to be a boxer Martin: Ah. And did she tell you that? Monita: Yes, you don't know all the punches she gave me while inside my belly Martin: Then she will be a boxer. A champion like her mother. (2:41) At the same time, "Sos Mi Vida" served as a reason to reunite Facundo and Natalia once again. It elevated to a maxium high the stories which claimed there was a so called romance between the couple. (2:57) Martin: All this that we have will never end. Monita: Do you know that I still love you just as strongly as the first time I saw you, pretty boy? Martin: And do you know that the years pass by and i'm still the happiest man in the world? Martin: You're my life Monita: You're also my life, pretty boy (3:35) Although Arana continues to be a bachelor, Oreiro continues to be married. Very much married to Ricardo Mollo but it seems that people don't care about that because they want to see her with the most beloved blonde man in Argentina. (3:54) Martin: I love you Monita: I love you Monita: I don't want this to ever end Martin: It won't ever end Monita: I'm scared Martin: Don't be scared, my love Martin: Nothing will ever seperate us Monita: Swear it Martin: I swear it Martin: As soon as I arrive in Buenos Aires, i'm going to have a very serious conversation with Constanza Monita: And the kids? What if she blackmails you with them? Martin: Monita...get used to the idea that you, the kids, and I will be a family I'm almost done with 97, it needs to be timed. I'll put it up on the folder as soon as i'm done. 96 is being done by Claudia. I told you guys that I was going to take longer breaks after the wedding was over. I've been doing this non stop for like a year now and it gets tiring. It's better to wait and receive than to not get anything at all, right? Enjoy guys :) Labels: translations Friday, May 16, 2008
I haven't been able to download from sendspace for some reason. I've been trying for days but finally today it worked. I hope it doesn't keep happening.Anyway while you wait, here is an old but cute article speculating whether Nati and Facu are in love in real life: ---------- "Sos mi vida" (You are my life) is one of the most successful programs of channel 13. The Uruguayan Natalia Oreiro and Facundo Arana give life every night to this love story starring "Esperanza “Monita” (Little monkey) Muñoz" and "Martin Quesada". It seems that as a result of many shooting hours and work related trips, their romance has moved from fiction to reality. For a long time now (Even before they flew to the World Cup in Germany to film scenes of the novela) there have been strong rumors going around the hallways of Pol-Ka. Oreiro and the blonde leading man are living a passionate romance. Natalia Oreiro has always confirmed that there is a special chemistry between them and that the reason she accepted this role is because of the insistence of Arana. It's nice to see people care about one another and novela fans always hope that their favorite actors fall in love in real life. But here we find ourselves with a little problem. A problem that has a first and last name, Ricardo Mollo, Natalia's husband. Even though it's said that the couple's relationship came with problems, I think that the rumors will eventually end up destroying them. A pity, since they seemed to be one of the most solid and stable couples of the entertainment world. On his part, Facundo Arana recently ended his long term relationship (I think they were together for 7 years) with actress Isabel Macedo. Bad tongues claim that the reason for their split is Natalia Oreiro. It is also speculated that the romance rumors are pure invention and they're only doing it to promote the novela. As if the novela needs promotion. It had an average of 30 points in the ratings even before the romance rumors began. It's a matter of waiting and seeing just how true the rumors are.
