 Episode 65 is out! And is it horrible that I wanted Ivo to get what he wanted? :X hehe I figured i'd go over a few words since a few people asked me Señor/Señora: Sir, Mister, Madam, Mrs. Unlike English, it's commonly used after someone's first name Señorita: Miss. Used for younger females. "ita" means little Don/Doña: Lord. Lady. This is a lot more respectful. Usually used for people who are wealthy, powerful, or/and older. In Argentina, they use "flaco" (Skinny boy), "gordo" (Fat boy), "viejo" (old man) the same way "dude" is used in English. You hear Ivo and Bobby calling each other this constantly. In Spanish, you can add sita/ita, sito/ito to a name. It means little and can be used to make something endearing. Exampes: Linita. Milagritos. Ramonsito. Or you can use it for its literal sense and make something smaller. Example: Apple (Manzana)....little apple (Manzanita) |
